Shrimp & Grits... my ultimate favorite brunch meal. But, I'll honestly eat it any time of day. The grits are a real dream. They can be paired with shrimp, fried wings, cajun salmon or fried catfish filets. Just to name a few of my favorite pairings. The creaminess of the grits is t he real trick and treat (hehe). These grits are so smooth and thick every single time. And the big, lock box secret is heavy cream, half & half and butter. Don't even try to act surprised. Mark this one as a cheat meal!! One other tip to perfectly creamy and thick grits is using stone-ground grits. Not your 5 minute instant grit time. But, anything worth having is worth the wait right?
