Smoked Gouda Drop Biscuits

When you think about making biscuits your initial go to thought may be canned or frozen or maybe even boxed. Those are reasonable and decent enough options. They are quick, easy and not intimidating.

Well, so are these melt in your mouth Smoked Gouda Drop Biscuits. Made with ingredients that are probably already in your pantry and fridge. And if you don't happen to have smoked gouda casually on hand. Choose another cheese or omit all together and gather up some herbs! The recipe is just that versatile.

These biscuits are great for brunch. Which is what I used them for. They pair nicely with fruit spreads and honey. But, they are also perfect with soup or just because you need a cheesy-carb filled snack. My husband and daughter thoroughly enjoyed these. They really hit the spot!!

My favorite part other than how delicious they tasted was the fact that I took a spoon and dropped hefty dollops right into the SKILLET. And threw the skillet right into the oven.

So grab your bag of flour and follow me.
